George and Amal Clooney win award for best in-flight parents

Okay, technically they didn’t win an award. But we think they should – mostly for being outstanding in-flight passengers.

Lets get this out of the way first – flying with a baby sucks. Whether you’re the parent trying super hard to keep it quiet, or the passengers that will inevitably be disturbed by said baby. Even surveyed passengers want the introduction of a separate kids cabin!

But when you have two babies? Like twins? It really sucks.

And this is a fact George and Amal Clooney are definitely aware of, having twins and being super famous and rich and jetting all over the place all the time. It’s so hard being a celebrity.

But it was super easy being on the same plane as two infants for the passengers in First Class recently, as they were all handed a pair of noise-cancelling headphones before take-off, courtesy of none other than George Clooney himself.

The headphones came with an apologetic note that explained the twins had discovered ‘squawking’ but the Clooneys hoped the headphones made the flight more bearable.

The headphones in question are custom-made, and feature George Clooney’s Casamigos tequila logo.

But a source told Us Weekly that the couple were worried about the babies for no reason – as they didn’t end up crying after all.

“George was nervous,” they said. “But the babies didn’t even make a peep.”

Apparently, director Quentin Tarantino was also on the flight, and happily accepted a pair of headphones. We would have too – just for the record.
