Qantas has signed up online personality Nicole Warne, also known as Gary Pepper Girl, as its official digital consultant to drive its digital strategy as it seeks to innovate in the space.
Announcing the appointment, group executive brand, marketing and corporate affairs Olivia Wirth stressed the importance of finding new ways to connect with online audiences.
“Nicole’s creativity, sharp focus on high-quality content and media platforms will help us showcase our international network to a new online audience,” she said.
“Working with Nicole gives us a platform to not only create content highlighting new products, destinations and services but it also provides us with the opportunity to promote one of Australia’s most talented digital consultants.”
Warne will work with the airline on a variety of projects including a series of destination video guides which will be used across its digital channels. She will create the series and feature in the first guide to Tokyo, with other personalities to feature in the following guides to New York, San Francisco, London and Santiago.
