G Adventures extends suspension of trips until after Halloween

G Adventures has stretched its suspension of tours once more to include departures up until and including 31 October.

The suspension includes departures of the operators G Expeditions ship, which has also had its November and December sailings suspended for 2020.

However, there are a few exceptions for departures operating in Europe for travel that is possible between certain countries.

Agents can rebook their clients for a future date or book an alternative tour instead. If your client is fully paid on a tour departing up to 31 October, they will receive a 110 per cent travel credit.

The tour operator has advised it is not currently suspending beyond 31 October to keep the door open in case things evolve in a way that allows your clients to travel again.

“We do understand people may feel uncertain about travelling in the upcoming months, so we are offering travellers booked on tours departing up to December 31, 2020 the option to transfer their booking to a future departure date for the same price,” G Adventures said in a statement.

“We’re continuing to work closely with all of our partner suppliers including our hotel, ground transportation and meal providers, to prepare for our tour relaunch.

“This includes the increased health and safety measures we’ve put in place on all of our tours as part of our recently launched ‘Travel with Confidence’ policy which features enhanced health and safety procedures on all of our tours to provide travellers with more confidence.”

And for travellers looking for even more reassurance, G Adventures has recently announced it’s Travel with Confidence Plus Collection of over 40 small group tours which include all the benefits of our Travel with Confidence policy, plus additional physical distancing measures.

It also recently announced a ‘Book Your Bubble’ collection of 80 tours that provide additional benefits over and above those received when booking private small-group travel.
