Emirates pilot draws Christmas tree in the sky

Guess what? It’s Christmas!

And in true Christmas form, a certain Airbus A380 has drawn a festive design in the sky while on a test flight.

The Emirates plane flew all over Germany – but not just in a few straight lines. Not during the festive season.

And so a Christmas tree was born, complete with baubles and a very impressive shape.

See?

The plane left Hamburg’s Finkenwerder airport at 12.47pm and arrived back into the same airport at approximately 4.35pm, according to Flightradar.

All those baubles and sharp triangle shapes in less than four hours!

The A380 cruised at around 41,000 feet whilst outlining the tree (read: masterpiece) which went south from Hamburg to Stuttgart for the trunk of the Christmas tree before zig-zagging back up to Hamburg again.

If only all flights did this.
