Disney World charms Travel Counsellors on Famil

Disney World Florida opened its doors to a group of lucky Travel Counsellor agents from all over the world on an exclusive familiarisation tour.

The group enjoyed the wide range of entertainment, accommodation, shopping and dining experiences on offer at enchanting world of Disney.

“Spending seven whole nights at our base at the Grand Floridian resort was a great way to get to know the Disney brand” said Kate Trickett of Victoria.

On the famil, the group got to experience everything this massive resort is known for. From the impressive nightly laser and fireworks show, to the thrills and spills of Blizzard Beach Water Park, the nostalgia of the Magic Kingdom theme park and signature dining experiences at a range of top quality cafes and restaurants, the agents were treated to an action-packed itinerary filled with fun, adventure and discovery.

David Hughes, Managing Director of Travel Counsellors Australia believes the charms of Disney offer good opportunities for many types of travellers.

“As a powerful brand the appeal of Disney is wide. Disney World offers a great opportunity for multi-generational travellers – grandparents travelling with grandkids and parents taking their own children on their annual holidays. It will no doubt assist them in selling Disney travel products to their clients in the future, but their firsthand knowledge will also be shared throughout the network which will help other Travel Counsellors to sell Disney World as a destination too,” said Hughes.
