Destination NSW marketing boss to join Australian Tourism Data Warehouse as CEO

Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) has announced the appointment of Jan Hutton as its new CEO, effective 20 October 2020.

Hutton will join ATDW from Destination NSW, where she has been its general manager of marketing for over two years.

Prior to Destination NSW, Hutton worked as the chief marketing officer at Destination Gold Coast and South African Tourism.

ATDW chair Frances-Anne Keeler said: “Jan was a standout candidate in a highly competitive selection process.

“She is a highly-regarded senior leader with a diverse background in global, national and regional tourism, while possessing significant digital development expertise.

“Her appointment marks a new chapter for ATDW and the board is looking forward to working with Jan to ensure ATDW continues to deliver on its remit as an essential service for all tourism-related businesses that want to accelerate their growth.”

Commenting on her appointment, Hutton said: “I am honoured and excited to have been selected to lead ATDW. The organisation has an essential role to play in the recovery of our once-flourishing industry.

“Building further on our success is a challenge I accept with pride, confidence and determination.”

ATDW is the national tourism digital resources marketplace for products, experiences, attractions and events across Australia that serves visitors, destination marketing organisations and key global distributors.
