Dallas joins CityPass

Visitors to Dallas from today will be able to see the city’s sights for less after being announced as the latest destination to join CityPass.

Phillip Jones, Dallas CVB president announced the move during a whirlwind tour of Australia with counterpart, and Bob Jameson, Fort Worth CVB president coinciding with meeting the country’s top travel industry members in Brisbane, Sydney and Perth.

Events, hosted in each city by its Australian representative Kent Marketing, gave the Australian travel industry an opportunity to learn more about Dallas and Fort Worth after some 56,000 Aussies visited the cities in 2014.

Australia represents a key market for the cities after Qantas introduced direct services in 2011 and increased capacity in September last year by adding an A380 on the route.

CityPass offers admission to many of the city’s top attractions with a saving of around 41% on combined entry fees and will retail for $44 per adult. The Dallas pass will include admission to the sixth floor interactive museum at Dealey Plaza dedicated to JFK – a number one tourist hot spot for Australian travellers.

Fort Worth continues to gain in popularity offering authentic stockyard experiences, a thriving food and arts scene.
