Check out the reviews of your hometown

The reviews you post online are having a big impact on the choice of hotels travellers are making.

According to Tripadvisor, over 90 per cent of people use online reviews when deciding which hotel to stay in during their travels – which clearly shows that the opinion of fellow travellers means a lot.

But what do these reviews really say about the hotels and the cities in which they occupy?

To find out, Last Minute analysed thousands of TripAdvisor reviews to unveil the top words used to describe hotels in ten of the most popular cities around the world.
