Cheaper round-the-world fares on sale

oneworld® is cutting the prices of its flagship oneworld Explorer round-the-world fare from Australia – and giving travel agents in the country a chance to globe-trot themselves, flying all the way in Business Class.

The sale cuts cost of oneworld Explorer fares booked in Australia by the end of March 2016 by up to 17.3 per cent, for a six-continent oneworld Explorer in Economy, with a minimum reduction of 8 per cent, on a four-continent trip in First Class.

That gives oneworld Explorer a lead-in price from the country of A$ 3,299 (US$ 2,370) excluding taxes and surcharges for a four-continent trip in Economy, with upgrades to five-continents for A$ 500 more and to a six-continent trip for an additional A$ 500 (excluding taxes and surcharges in both cases).

To promote sale, travel agents booking oneworld Explorer fares before the end of March 2016 can enter a competition to win a round-the-world four-continent trip in Business Class for two, including a two-night stay in a One&Only resort, as the top prize.

Qantas is the only Australian carrier to be part of the alliance.
