The chairman of the Council of Australian Tour Operators Dennis Bunnik has met with the organisation’s British and American counterparts in a bid to benefit the local industry.
“Forming links with our international colleagues allows us to share information and ideas for the benefit of our members, especially in the areas of consumer, business risk and crisis management,” Bunnik said.
The meetings, with the USTOA in New York and the AITO in London, are part of a plan for the sharing of ideas ahead of the unveiling of a new strategic plan to members at dinner meetings to take place in Melbourne on November 24 and in Sydney on November 25.
Guest speakers have also been confirmed for the events, with Phil Asker AO to take the stage in Melbourne and Gil McLachlan in Sydney. To book your place at either of the events, email gina@afta.com.au.
