Cat that’s been loose in JFK airport for a week is finally caught

Guys your Monday just got ten times better because we have a story for you about a super cute cat that has been loose in an airport for a week.

Yes, a week!

According to News.com, the runaway feline named Pepper was supposed to be accompanying her owner to China last week, to start a new job.

The owner, not the cat. But obviously its insanely cute to picture a cat working a job which is what we just spent 15 minutes doing.

Anyway, Pepper bolted from her owner as they were preparing to board and her owner was forced to travel to China without her.

After being on the lose in John F. Kennedy International Airport for a week, Pepper was finally lured out of hiding on Saturday morning.

A friend of Pepper’s owner was enlisted by the officer who led the rescue to coax her out of her hiding spot by calling out her Mandarin name and offering her food.

To be honest, we’re pretty easily persuaded by food too so we don’t blame her for coming out of hiding.
