Luxury Escapes announces Senior Internship Program

Australian travel site LuxuryEscapes.com is tapping into the over 60s market with the launch of its The Senior Internship program, which will only accept applicants over 60 years of age.
LuxuryEscapes.com general manager Blake Hutchison said “we think the program is a great opportunity for the successful applicant to get a first-hand understanding and experience of the exciting world of online travel, including social media and e-marketing.”

According to stats from ABS, the proportion of the population aged 65 years is the fastest growing, and is projected to increase more rapidly over the next decade.

The Senior Internship will include the successful applicant being trained in blogging, vlogging, social media, hotel reviews and marketing at Luxury Escapes Sydney or Melbourne headquarters.

The intern will then be sent on an all-expenses-paid 10-day trip to Bali, where they will get to review and trial five star resorts, including Grand Hyatt Bali and Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali.  The intern will also share the entire journey across social media.

Kerzner International announces departure of its CEO

Kerzner International Holdings Limited (the “Company”) has announced that Alan Leibman will step down as Chief Executive Officer, a position he has held since 2012.
