Aussie singles take to the seas

Aussie singles take to the seas

Australia’s first ever singles cruise set sail earlier this month as Cruise Holidays’ Singlescruising.com.au hosted its first voyage aboard Carnival Spirit.

The nine-night South Pacific sailing carried a group of 90 singles, with more than 20 from the US and New Zealand. As part of the singles program, they enjoyed a range of hosted activities and events including an “Angels & Devils” night.

Cruise Holidays managing director Les Farrar hailed the first Singlescruising sailing out of Australia a “great success”.

“This group was planned well in advance with our US based partners SinglesCruise.com, who provided great support in the form of an experienced host who flew down from the US to run our activities and ensure our group had a great time,” he said.

“There are many people out there who don’t want to be on a cruise by themselves and don’t normally have anyone to travel with. By joining our group they were able to mingle with like minded people and form new friendships immediately.”

The next Singlescruising sailing date has been set for 2016 with Farrar promising more regular departures thereafter.
