ATEC launches International Ready

ATEC launches International Ready

Members of the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) will be displaying a new symbol that represents their commitment to business excellence in the international tourism marketplace at Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) on the Gold Coast this week.

ATEC managing director, Peter Shelley said the International Ready symbol “identifies ATEC members as being ‘International Ready’ in their management of global distribution channels and their understanding of international tourism trade relationships.”

“These businesses have proven their credentials against a vast array of criteria including a commitment to minimum business standards, participation in professional development initiatives and attendance at B2B trade events.”

The International Ready symbol identifies businesses who are Business Ready – Meeting ATECs commercially focused member criteria, Integrity Ready – Aligned with ATEC’s Code of Business Practice and Export Ready – Proven understanding of distribution channels and commission structures.

The International Ready branding also recognises the length of time businesses have been contributing to the development of Australia’s international tourism, with special recognition of those who have been doing so for 30 plus years.

These businesses include:

AAT Kings, APT – Australian Pacific Touring, ATS Pacific Australia, AccorHotels, Bay Village Tropical Retreat, Cambridge Hotel Sydney, Choice Hotels Asia-Pac, Dreamworld/SkyPoint, Federal Group, Hamilton Island, Jupiters Hotel & Casino Gold Coast, Pan Pacific Travel Australia, Qantas Airways, Quicksilver Connections, SeaLink Travel Group & Captain Cook Cruises, South Australian Tourism Commission, Southern World Australia, Sovereign Hill, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Sydney Opera House, Taronga Zoo, Tourism Northern Territory, Tourism Western Australia, Tourism and Events Queensland, Tropic Wings Cairns Tours, Village Roadshow Theme Parks, Visit Victoria
