Airline introduces best game ever on delayed flight

Have you ever been on a delayed flight? And had to sit on a plane for a few hours?

We once sat on a plane in a military base for 13 hours – and boy do we wish we’d been on this plane instead of our Qantas one.

Why? Because when you get delayed on an Easy Jet flight, you play a game instead of wallowing in sadness and anger.

According to The Sun, Easy Jet staff organised a toilet roll race on a flight that was delayed a few hours at Gatwick Airport, London. It was bound for Edinburgh, and passengers were eventually moved to another plane after a computer fault.

But none of that matters, because the crew and the passengers played what looks like the best team building exercise ever whilst on board.

A flight attendant explained that the game was to pass an unravelling toilet roll from one end of the plane to the other without it breaking. The fastest side of the plane won free drinks or snacks – which you usually have to pay for on an Easy Jet flight.

Lynsey Rowlands, a student on board, told The Sun that “The staff were absolute heroes.”

“Everyone was laughing their heads off and cheering. Who knew a delay could be so much fun?” she said.

Everyone on the plane got involved in the distracting game – from young children to elderly passengers.

“Everyone was getting really fed up just sitting there not moving,” Rowlands added.

“But then all of a sudden one of the cabin crew announced we were all to play a game. It turned into absolute carnage.”

“The staff really went the extra mile. Normally I’d have been frustrated but it really lightened up the whole situation.

“It was hands down the funniest flight ever. It went on for a good half an hour,” she said.
