Travel Corp brands set for Egypt return
By admin

Contiki and Busabout will resume tours to Egypt in September with Trafalgar and Insight returning in January, The Travel Corporation has confirmed.

Uniworld meanwhile will re-commence Nile cruises in September 2015.

The company said the decision to re-enter Egypt followed the recent presidential election.

Chief executive Brett Tollman said: “We have been monitoring the destination closely and after extensive consultation with our teams on the ground, and in speaking with our travel partners in each market, we are pleased to confirm a return to Egypt later this year.

“We are seeing pent-up demand for the destination and are delighted to be able to elevate our support for this truly remarkable part of the world.”

But Tollman said it will remain in “constant dialogue” with its on-the-ground partners, stressing that guest safety remains “utmost priority”.
