Tourism Portfolio to build leisure focus
By admin

Representation firm Tourism Portfolio has appointed its first business development manager for leisure as it looks to take advantage of the strength of the outbound market.

Nicole Skjaerbaek will be responsible for raising awareness of its products and forging links with Australian wholesalers. Tourism Portfolio's clients include Asian Trails, New World Travel and Gulf Ventures.

"The strength of the Australian dollar has made Australia an increasingly important market for companies who offer outstanding leisure products, particularly in South East Asia, China, North America and the Middle East," managing director Donna Kessler said.

"In her new role Nicole will be responsible for further growing this important business by nurturing relationships with key Australian wholesalers."

Skjaerbaek, who will be based in Sydney, previously worked for Sydney Point of Sale, a point-of-sale and marketing consultant for the retail sector.
