Family-friendly holidays are taking on a whole new meaning, with G Adventures launching its collection of 2015 family adventures, specifically catered to teenagers.

Spanning three continents and 14 countries, never again shall parents suffer the whine of a wifi-less teen or a moody adolescent banished to Kids Club, with the tour operator offering ‘Teen Adventures’, designed around feedback from agents and clients.

The itineraries, suited to ages 12 and up, feature more age-appropriate activities, with G Adventures’ duchess of delegation Belinda Ward saying travel should be accessible to all children.

“The world is full of possibility and wonder for people of all ages but seeing it through a child’s eyes is that much more exciting,” she said.

“Exposing children to different cultures, languages, environments and even food helps them grow to become worldly adults in the future.”

All family adventures are two weeks or less in length, and planned around school holiday periods, with group sizes restricted to 20 travellers.

Each trip comes with its own skilled ‘Chief Experience Officer’, who is responsible for enriching the journey and offering local insight.

“We are excited to be introducing trips for teenagers, who are just as keen to experience the world but have different needs to even younger travellers,” Ward added.

“Our Teen Adventures range will combine the best of our regular trips and ensure you are travelling with like-minded adventurous families.”

The 2015 family brochure is now available, including trips to Vietnam, Morocco, Peru and several other kid-friendly destinations.
