Sydney's best Instagramming spots

Sydney's best Instagramming spots
By admin

From the arch of the Harbour Bridge to the lines of sun seekers on Bondi Beach, Sydney is packed with great Instagram opportunities.

So grab your phone and get snapping from these top locations.

OPERA BAR

You can kill two birds with one stone at the perfectly positioned Opera Bar, from where you can snap a pic of both the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. This place is one of Sydney's hottest spots, especially for Friday after-work drinks and on lazy Sundays. Voted as best Australian bar in Australian Traveller magazine's 2013 Readers' Choice Awards, this place gets busy. It's best to head here at dusk to score a seat and a golden photo. #operabar #cheers #seesydney

LUNA PARK

You won't find a more colourful spot for an Insta shot than Luna Park at Milsons Point. Think clowns, the Rotor, dodgem cars, giant sideshow toys and corn dogs. From the ferris wheel you'll also get a great photo overlooking Sydney Harbour. And you can't leave without taking a selfie in front of the giant Luna face. #lunapark #scaryclowns #dodgemcars

BONDI ICEBERGS

Australia's most famous beach, Bondi offers a Goliath of photo opportunities, from the posers to the backpackers, the fastfood outlets to the hip bars. A regular #bondi feature, however, is the pool at Bondi Icebergs. From here you can grab a pic of the morning swimmers, the surfers nearby and of the beach itself. #bondiicebergsclub #waterfoam

MANLY SEA LIFE SANCTUARY

Join in the fight to save sharks from culling by posting a photo of one from Manly Sea Life Sanctuary. If you're brave, grab an underwater camera, suit up and go diving with the sharks. A photo with a toothy shark grin overhead will be the ultimate selfie. #ilovesharks #noculling

DARLING HARBOUR

For a great shot of the city, position yourself on one of the wharves at Pyrmont. A good place is Wharf 7, outside Maritime Heritage Centre. You'll have views across the water to the skyrises of the CBD and may even catch a ferry in the foreground. #skyscraper #citylife

QUEEN VICTORIA BUILDING

The QVB on either side of George and York streets is a no brainer. Not only do you have the gorgeous clothing and jewellery boutiques for some #luxury photos, but there are plenty of #foodporn to make your followers' mouths water.

If you're after that iconic architectural image, go to the centre of the ground level (where the Christmas tree always is) and point your camera up to the ceiling. The underside of the multicoloured glass dome is oh so pretty. #qvb #style
