Ski resort becomes latest QT

Victorian ski resort hotel Quay West Falls Creek will become part of the QT Hotels and Resorts portfolio, as it is renamed QT Falls Creek just in time for this year's snow.

The 63-apartment complex features one, two, three and four bedroom apartments which will receive the quirky QT touch as hotel designer Nic Graham redesigns the resort, to officially open in June.

It is QT's first ski property and joins its expanding portfolio which consists of properties in Port Douglas, the Gold Coast and Sydney.

David Seargeant, managing director of QT parent firm AHL, said the property is the "ideal opportunity" to take the QT brand into Falls Creek.

"The QT brand is part of a global trend of design-led lifestyle hotels that provide high energy innovative restaurants and bars in a boutique highly stylised design and we look forward to bringing this experience to Falls Creek in time for this winter season," he said.
