Singapore Airlines celebrates 30 years of service to QLD
By admin

Singapore celebrates its 30th year of operation to Queensland this year, joining only seven other carriers that have reached or exceeded the same milestone.

Currently Singapore Airlines is the only international carrier to offer triple daily frequencies on a single route from Brisbane, and carries more than half a million passenger each year with over 2100 annual aircraft arrivals and departures.

Of the milestone Greg McJarrow, Singapore Airlines Queensland manager, commented, “We are pleased to achieve this special milestone… This is also a turning point for us, with our alliance with Virgin Australia, as new connections and enhanced travel benefits open up to Queenslanders, for travel across our European and Asian network."

McJarrow is pictured below with Julieanne Alroe, Brisbane Airport Corporation chief executive and managing director.
