Qantas Holidays and its associated wholesale brands have launched a new initiative designed to provide extra benefit to agents looking to book clients onto trips with the brands.
Billed as an industry first, the wholesaler its launching a 24/7 emergency customer care service, which can be accessed via a single telephone number across all five wholesale brands either by agents or their clients once they have departed on their holiday.
The service is manned by an experienced group of wholesale employees, who will be available to assist clients in the event of weather disruptions, global travel incidents, third party service delivery concerns or booking resolution issues.
General manager for the wholesale brands Peter Egglestone said the launch of this service was designed to provide enhanced confidence for agents and customers.
“It’s about providing our agent partners with that extra layer of confidence they need, and to demonstrate that we will be there for their clients when they are unable to be,” he said.
