Hawaiian Airlines has released a range of special fares from 28 Australian cities to Hawaii and 11 mainland US gateways.

The discounted fares are on sale now until March 31 for travel until December 12. The carrier has also extended its child fare offer during the sale which offers passengers under 17 the same discounted rate normally only available to under 11s.

Return fares include Sydney to Honolulu for $1092, Brisbane to Los Angeles from $1517 and Melbourne to New York from $1689.

 

Sydney-based Randall Marketing is to represent the new Meritus Pecatu Bali resort in Australia and New Zealand. The 136-room property is set for a soft opening in July.

 

Passenger numbers at Melbourne Airport climbed 3% in February compared to a year ago with international growth of 2% and domestic rising 4%. Increasing Asian traffic helped swell international arrivals to almost 541,000 with domestic numbers hitting 1.72 million.
