Magellan Travel Group has welcomed three new members to its ranks, to take effect from June 1.

The new additions to the travel agency network are Travel with Purpose, formerly Jetset Albany, which is located in SW Western Australia along with  Atlas Travel Service and The Village Travel which are both located in Brisbane, Queensland.

 

The Gold Coast has been confirmed as the venue of the 2014 Travellers Choice Annual Shareholders Conference, with Andrew Daddo to once again take the role of MC.

The event will take place from October 31 to November 2 at Jupiters Hotel and Casino which has recently undergone a significant refurbishment.

 

The latest upgrade of Qantas’ iPhone app offers passengers a “smarter and more personalised” interface.

The new version delivers real-time information and alerts customers to the steps they need to take to check-in, get to the airport, navigate the terminal, board the aircraft and collect their bags.

Optimised for iOS7, the app has also retained its original features including the ability to buy airfares and book a hotel among others.

 

Adventure World is offering 15% off Europe and 10% off the rest of the world on its range of Exodus Small Group Journeys.

The offer, which excludes polar journeys, is applicable for new bookings made by June 30 for departures by December 31. Agents should quote “activity” at time of booking to be eligible.
