The challenge for the industry is… always being able to continually offer new, diverse and exciting product that has the right appeal for the client.

The things I like about my job are… working with such a talented team, being able to present the fantastic product portfolio on offer through APT and Travelmarvel and having the chance to travel.

And the frustrations? Not having enough leave to experience all the destinations myself – my bucket list gets longer by the day.

If I didn’t work in travel I would be… a travel journalist. Then at least I could still meet new people, talk incessantly and travel the world!

Qantas or Virgin? Both – I try to share my love.

My proudest moment was… winning APT’s Employee of the Year in 2012.

The naughtiest thing I ever did was… in Year 12 putting weed killer on the beautifully manicured grass at school on muck up day.

I try to relax by… reacquainting myself with my couch every now and then – with a stack of DVDs.

The last time I feared for my life was… swimming in the Red Sea with reef sharks.

If I can, I always try to avoid… brussel sprouts.

I really wish I had… known 20 years ago what I know now.

The best advice I’ve ever received was… follow your instinct – it rarely lets you down.

I don’t understand why… people stand over the conveyor belt at the airport waiting for their luggage instead of standing back so everyone can see their luggage coming. It drives me insane.

My greatest weakness is… red wine and a cheese platter.

And my greatest strength… being supported by the fantastic team I work with – all of whom are driven, passionate and successful.

If I was prime minister I would… introduce tax deductable shoes.

If I won $1 million on the lottery I would… buy a villa in Italy and holiday there each year, eating gelati every day.

If I could be someone else for one day I would be… Pink – so that I could sing ‘Upside Down’ in front of 20,000 fans – what a buzz.

I’ve always wanted to travel to… Croatia – when I lived in Europe in the 90’s it was a warzone so I would love to get back there.

My favourite holiday was… cycling around Southern China. We were the talk of the villages and towns who had never seen westerners before – with our helmets, big noses and lycra!
