Midweek Interview with Rachael Harding, Director of Sales for Trafalgar

The challenge for the industry is…. The changing dynamics in distribution.

The things I like about my job are…. The places I go, the people I meet and the amazing product I sell!

And the frustrations…. Changing entrenched perceptions.

If I didn’t work in travel I would be a…. Journalist.

Qantas or Virgin? It all depends on my schedule.

My proudest moment was…. Winning Trafalgar global executive of the year.

The naughtiest thing I ever did was….. Lie to my (now) husband about my age.

I try to relax by… Going to Pilates or listening to cheesy music…think Spandau, Rod Stewart, Air supply, Lionel …. Yes, I said cheesy!

The last time I feared for my life… Never …jinx?

If I can, I always try to avoid Cheese.

I really wish I had The time to stay super fit.

The best advice I’ve ever received was If you don’t stand for something you will go for anything.

I don’t understand why… If your flight is delayed, the pilot always says, “We will make up time in the air.” Why don’t they fly faster and get us there quicker all the time?

My greatest weakness is…. Shaw & Smith M3.

And my greatest strength…. Determination .

If I was prime minister I would... Not have my mail redirected just yet.

If I won $1 million on the lottery I would…. Fly to Bora Bora and think about my next step.

If I could be someone else for one day I would be Prince Harry – he has all the fun!

I’ve always wanted to travel to…. Necker Island.

My favourite holiday was Cuba.
