Magellan Travel Group has added two more agents to its ranks, taking membership to 70.

Emma Whiting Travel in Clifton Hill, Victoria and South Yarra-based Worldwide Travel will join the network on April 1.

Whiting opened her agency in 2006 after a 14-year career with Flight Centre while Worldwide Travel was founded in 1976 by Roger Smith who recently retired.

The retailer was acquired by Simone Kaye who previously owned Traveland Williamstown and had spells with Ansett and Continental Airlines.

Magellan chief executive Andrew Macfarlane, pictured, said both agencies are "consistent with our niche of high-end leisure and boutique corporate agents".
