Western Australia will welcome two new DoubleTree by Hilton properties under a new agreement signed between Hilton Worldwide and the Perth-based arm of Malaysian property development firm MB Group.

DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront and DoubleTree by Hilton Fremantle are both newbuilds set to open in mid-2016 and 2017 respectively.

“These two exciting new DoubleTree by Hilton developments will join our three existing DoubleTree by Hilton Hotels in the Northern Territory and are part of our growth strategy for this powerful brand in Australia,” Hilton Worldwide president Asia Pacific Martin Rinck said.

"Hilton Worldwide has had a strong presence in Australia for over 40 years with the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand, and we are very committed to further expanding our brand portfolio in the region.”

The DoubleTree portfolio caters to business and leisure travellers seeking an “upscale, full-service hotel experience”.  It is known for its signature chocolate chip cookie presented to each guest upon arrival (pictured).
