Cruise Holidays to launch new venture for general travel agents

Cruise Holidays to launch new venture for general travel agents
By admin

The management team behind Cruise Holidays Australia has revealed it will launch a new venture in the coming months targeted at general travel agents.

Details of the new venture will be released in the coming months, but managing director Les Farrar revealed the host agency business will be aimed at the general travel agent and will use the same custom-built technology and systems that are behind its expanding cruise business.

"We believe our marketing and technology solutions provide a real competitive advantage to our Cruise Holidays agents,” he said.

“We'll soon be able to offer these same programs to retail stores or home based agents who prefer to be recognised as traditional, general travel agents.

“We have a strong relationship with our US based partners Travel Leaders, who operate a number of businesses including a host agency with over 2000 home based agents. It therefore makes sense to leverage this partnership where possible and to bring some of their great initiatives to the Australian market."

Meanwhile, Cruise Holidays Australia has opened its fourth Cruise Holidays branded retail store in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast in partnership with Noosa Cruise & Travel.

The expanding network, which launched just over a year ago, also recently welcomed Robyn & Murray Sinfield, taking its total number of agents to 25 – a number in line with expectations, according to Farrar.
