AAT Kings has appointed an Asia sales manager with responsibility for strengthening existing contacts and launching new product into emerging markets.

Lucy Jin, who has a “strong background in touring sales and product development in Asia” started in the newly created role this week as the operator looks to build its links in the region.

She will be based in Sydney and report to head of international sales, Fleur Ulbrick.

AAT Kings global managing director, Anthony Hayes, said: “Like many domestic travel operators, Asia is a key inbound market for us which we have long serviced through our charter program and foreign language services.

“To expand on this and grow awareness of the breadth of experiences and services AAT Kings offers, we’ve established the role of sales manager Asia.”

The position will demonstrate AAT’s commitment to providing tailored product to Asia markets, he added.
