$60K diamond ring lost at hotel

The Palazzo Versace just got more dazzling.

A Brisbane woman has reportedly lost her $60,000 engagement ring at the glitzy Gold Coast hotel last week.

Amaya Brookman, 42, was attending a conference at the property when her three-carat ring “mysteriously” disappeared between 9:30pm to 12:30am, according to news.com.au.

According to Brookman, she did not leave the hotel at the time of losing the ring, leaving her to believe it remains somewhere on the property grounds.

“It [didn’t] just slide off my finger, it’s such a mystery where the ring has gone,” Brookman said, the paper reports.

Photos taken during the course of the evening reveal the ring on her finger between 6:30pm to 7pm, and Brookman said she recalls wearing it at around 9.30pm. It wasn’t until 12:30am when Brookman realised it had gone missing.

After reporting the case to the luxury-hotel, management put a number of rooms into “lockdown” to be searched, however the ring has not yet been located.

Brookman is now offering a reward if the engagement ring is found.
