Travelocity has been officially nominated as an online third party intermediary for Inter-Continental’s hotels worldwide.
These include Inter-Continental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites.
The deal means Travelocity can offer the best room rates publicly available at all of the properties.
It will also have access to bundled rates for its ‘TotalTrip’ dynamic packaging product as well as distressed rates for its ‘Last Minute Deals’ product.
IHG said it had certified Travelocity as an intermediary after determining it met the group’s distribution standards.
It has also discontinued its relationship with Expedia and Hotels.com, saying it was unable to secure a commitment from both sites under the group’s global third party intermediary standard.
