The first Asia Pacific travel distribution and technology conference will be held in Singapore later this month, bringing together more than 40 regional specialists in the areas of travel, tourism and e-commerce.

Wired 2005: Asia Travel Matrix - to be held on October 20 and 21 - will debate the developments in online travel and will feature Zuji ceo Scott Blume, Expedia Asia Pacific president Barney Harford, and Tiger Airways ceo Tony Davis as speakers.

The Singapore Tourism Board has given a three-year marketing commitment to the conference, which it hopes will become a signature event for travel and tourism in Asia.
