Travel agencies will have year-round 30 per cent discounts at Accor hotels worldwide as part of a new travel industry discount program launched by the hotel giant.
Accor has revamped its agent website at www.travelagencies.accorhotels.com, and has launched STAR – Special Travel Agency Rate. STAR gives travel agents access to a wide range of commissionable rates for their clients and discounted rates for themselves at 1300 Accor properties.
Meanwhile, Accor will launch the Small Events Online Booking Solution in Asia Pacific on October 1, which allows for fully-automated online bookings for meetings of up to 30 delegates. The tool forms part of the relaunched meetings.accorhotels.com website.
And small to medium businesses who book a total of 50 room nights per year at Accor will also see their costs discounted by 10 per cent as part of a new web-based tool called ‘Accor Away on Business’. A website has been launched at www.accorawayonbusiness.com.
