Virgin Australia recognises youngest travellers

Virgin Australia has launched the High Flyer Passport across its domestic and international network which provides stamps to passengers under the age of 10 every time they travel on a Virgin flight.

Around 900,000 children board Virgin Australia flights each year and around 1000 platinum Velocity Frequent Flyer members are under the age of 12.

Virgin Australia group executive Danielle Keighery said the airline was passionate about providing the best customer service for even the youngest of their customers.

“We recognise that many of our travellers discover the magic of flying from an early age and we are delighted to recognise them with this unique initiative,” Keighery said.

“In addition to being a keepsake for our young guests to take home, we hope that the passport will instil a sense of pride each time they fly and encourage future travel adventures.”
