New Darwin digs open for travellers
By admin

The new Darwin Qantas Club opened its doors today offering travellers 1500 sq meters of space to enjoy a little luxury before jetting off.

The new lounge features seating for more than 350 guests, the usual high-quality F&B, a business centre complete with iMac computers and a meeting room.

Qantas head of Australian regional operations, Natalie Saulter said Darwin’s new Qantas Club is a testament to the airline’s ongoing investment in Darwin and customer experience.

“Qantas has a long history in the Northern Territory and we consider Darwin a very important part of our domestic network. Not only do we operate the most services in and out of the capital we are also the only airline to have a dedicated lounge for its customers.

“The new lounge has been designed to give customers a new level of comfort and convenience – from a sophisticated barista service providing the best coffee experience to a dedicated business centre with complimentary wireless, photocopying and fax,” Saulter said.
