Girl power at Flight Centre
By admin

Flight Centre has recently undergone a restructure in the wholesale division appointing Allisa O'Connell to oversee all the Australian wholesale businesses, comprising of Infinity Holidays, Infinity Cruise, Infinity Rail and Quickbeds.

O’Connell originally started with Flight Centre in 1988 and has since progressed from being a front line travel consultant to ticket centre business leader to EGM of Australia to Infinity Nation Leader and now Wholesale GM for Australia.

Infinity Holidays manager for Australia, Sandra Cavallin also started out as a front line consultant in Melbourne and after winning numerous sales awards rose to the position of Retail Area Leader. Cavallin will be transitioning to the Infinity Leader role over the coming months and will relocate from Melbourne to Brisbane in January 2015.

Infinity Cruise and Rail general manager Megan Lowe was yet another front line consultant who made her way up to team leader then area leader of Infinity QLD and now business leader of Infinity Cruise and Rail. Megan brings her experience of an established Flight Centre business to the emerging Cruise and Rail brands and these businesses have experienced exponential growth under her guidance.

Quickbeds general manager Heike Binting has over 25 years’ experience including being Global HR Manager and Nation Leader of Learning and Development as well as being responsible for the iconic 'Global Ball' for 6 years. Binting also started her career with Flight Centre as a front line travel consultant and opened one of the first Corporate Traveller businesses.

All four ladies are a product of Flight Centre's philosophy of promoting from within and its policy of growing leaders who know the business from the ground up.
