Bangkok's balloons to entice travellers
By admin

Bangkok’s skies were filled with thousands of smiley-faced balloons, symbolic of friendship, in an effort to entice travellers from around the world to visit Thailand.

Organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the event marked the first day of the Thailand Happiness: Street Festival extravaganza in Bangkok.

From 25 to 26 July, the festival in the heart of Bangkok saw events across Parc Paragon, Central World Square and The Platinum Fashion Mall which were unified under the theme "Colour Your Life with Happiness".

The events were the result of collaboration between different elements of the Thai administration and the business community who joined forces to invite travellers and tourists to visit "Thailand: The Land of Smiles."
