Welcome to the 2009 Travel Weekly Salary and Job Satisfaction Survey. This is now the third year the study is being conducted and as with previous surveys, the aim is to undertake the most comprehensive examination of the Australian travel profession, and we need your help.
However with the current global financial crisis gripping the travel industry, there’s never been a more important time to tell us about the salary you earn, your job security and how the recession has affected your job.
We’re looking to see if salaries have dipped in the midst of the economic downturn and how worker satisfaction has been affected. On top of this though, we’ll also tell you what the average salary is, which retail group has the happiest workers and who pays the worst.
