Trade focus for Hawaiian as it restructures fares
By admin

Hawaiian Airlines is ramping up its efforts to work with the Australian trade, as it announced a revised fare structure designed to make it easier to book with the carrier.

Under the changes, the shoulder season has been eliminated with the year instead split into just low and high periods.

The airline’s Australian sales manager, Andrew Denman, said the changes come as Hawaii grows in popularity with the Australian market.

“Demand for Hawaii continues to be high with Australian travellers, with a 28% increase in visitors from Australia to Hawaii in the first six months of the year,” he said.

“We have been working hard to make it easier for the Australian travel industry to work with us and this is something we are committed to work on into the future.”

The new low season dates are January 17 to March 25, April 26 to June 20, July 9 to September 20 and October 16 to December 12.

High season dates are March 26 to April 25, June 21 to July 8, September 21 to October 15 and December 13 to January 16.
