Shaking up the industry, new agent-friendly website launches
By admin

A new online travel service, Tripbooka.com.au, connecting Australian consumers with travel agents has been launched.

Founder Luke Crawford said the platform was created to “ease the process of booking online”, and will enable customers to directly connect with “hundreds of travel agents” via a single search.

“Tripbooka is looking to disrupt the travel industry and help bring back the traditional travel agent in today’s complicated world of travel,” Crawford said.

The process involves a booking request being sent to pre-registered agents on the Tripbooka database, then allowing for agents to compete for the booking.

According to Crawford, Tripbooka’s unique feature is it enables two-way communication between the traveller and the agent before any personal details or payment is required to confirm the booking.

“Travellers are overwhelmed by choices in booking online, Information overload is a big draw back when looking for that next holiday. Tripbooka.com.au addresses these problems by simplifying the planning, research and booking process. Tripbooka does the legwork not the traveller,” Crawford said.

“As our everyday lives become more complicated, Tripbooka takes the frustration out of booking and researching your holiday and leaves it up to the professionals and not a robot.”

Tripbooka.com.au will be in beta until mid-October.
