Air Serbia has launched a multi-channel advertising campaign to boost awareness of the airline and position Belgrade as a convenient European air transport hub, with the tag line ‘Air Serbia: the new wings of Europe’.

The campaign includes television, print, outdoor billboards and online components, and aims to promote Serbia and its capital city as a vibrant leisure destination, with the campaign launching the next phase of growth for the airline beyond the Balkan region, into Europe and North America.

Back-Roads Touring is celebrating guide Charlie Jaques being awarded a silver award in the annual World Guide Awards from adventure travel magazine Wanderlust.

The ceremony took place on October 21 at the Royal Geographical Society in London, with the awards recognising tour leaders who bring passion, energy and enthusiasm to the role.

Jaques has spent the past 15 years travelling the world as an expedition leader, and is currently based in France, where he runs the two tours of La Belle France and Champagne, Burgundy and the Rhone Valley.

Niue Tourism is welcoming the continuation of Air New Zealand’s second seasonal service to Niue commencing April 2015.

The second service will start a month earlier than the previous year enabling valuable additional capacity for the April school holidays and Niue’s popular, biennial Arts Festival that runs from 10-17 April 2015.  

Niue Island’s director of tourism, Vanessa Marsh says, “the earlier start is a great boost to tourism for the region and makes promoting special events and school holiday periods all the more viable.”
