The role
Product Manager – Salary $65,000 to $75,000 DOE. You know you want to work for a successful company, then why don’t you come on-board and join this multi-award winning travel specialist as a Product Manager! My client has a reputation in the travel industry for providing excellence, and it starts with the people that work for them and the Product Manager whoensures that they can produce and market the best deals within the travel industry.  The Product Manager is responsible for the year round and ongoing contract negotiation with tourism partners and the management of the internal/external contracting process to support the product strategy for the whole business. This is a great opportunity for an existing Travel Product Manager who would like to be part of a winning team formula and take this travel company to the next level.

Skills & Expertise

  • Previous experience as a travel product manager or senior product co-ordinator looking to take that next step
  • Work closely with Operations Manager, Reservations Training Manager to deliver key product information to load and support teams as well as retail consultants
  • Work closely with the Product team and develop staff for improved performance
  • Deliver product range to support growth of assigned destinations
  • Manage supplier relationships and develop strategies to increase profitability to the business
  • Negotiate high level deals with supplier partners for long term business growth
  • Work with key airline partners to deliver tactical airfares to drive margin and volume
  • Manage contra and add fee advertising budgets & reviewing performance against agreed targets
  • Performance Driven, exceptional negotiation skills at all levels, great communication levels, customer focussed with good leadership skills
