Key Account Manager, Travel Industry Sales (12 month maternity leave contract)

You will work closely with a portfolio of key Leisure accounts from various source markets to generate new business and increase revenue through existing partnerships.

The primary focus of this role will be to generate revenue and contribute to the growth of the Leisure Sales segment, while maintaining client relationships through exceptional customer service, promoting the Europcar brand effectively through these channels and problem solving where required.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving revenue growth through selected brokers, wholesalers and online travel agents
  • Developing and implementing promotional initiatives to maximise market opportunities
  • Conducting direct negotiations with key clients and monitor contract performance
  • Working with various departments within the business to deliver the Europcar product to market in a customer responsive and cost efficient manner
  • Provide regular reporting on your allocated portfolio of accounts
  • Promote the Europcar brand and image within the Leisure travel industry

To be considered for this position you should have:

  • Sales leadership experience in the car rental or wider travel industry
  • An understanding of travel agency booking systems and processes.
  • Advanced strategic sales capability
  • Exceptional customer service skills and drive to deliver quality outcomes for both external and internal customers
  • Willingness to make informed, realistic commitments and to deliver on these commitments
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to use these skills at all levels of the business and in a range of forums
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong project management, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
