Business Development Manager – Meeting and Events

The Client

An Iconic Brand in the Events Industry, working with some of the biggest and well known businesses in Australia and the world.

The role

You will be responsible for proactively seeking, engaging and closing sales for meetings and events. Working closely with internal contacts you will focus on Mid, Multinational and Large Markets to identify and evaluate potential meeting & event clients.

The Candidate.

The ideal candidate will be a highly driven individual that thrives on hunting for new business. With an outgoing and customer service focused personality, motivated by To identify and engage customer contacts at all levels – executives, decision makers, influencers, stakeholders – working across various industry segments and customer tiers

  • Developing strategic sales plans and fostering professional relationships with the goal to create and close sales opportunities, with exceptional and consistent results including high customer satisfaction
  • To build and manage a pragmatic pipeline through cold-calling, face-to-face appointments, and networking; – with emphasis on generating leads and progressing opportunities from suspect to conversion and Business as Usual
  • To communicate clearly and persuasively (verbal, written) in order to present a compelling business case for action, with articulation of value and benefits that resonate for customers
  • To project manage opportunities through their lifecycle – to make our company accessible, relevant and responsive to customers throughout the engagement

You will receive an uncapped salary of well over $100k plus super,  Global career opportunities,Global travel opportunities and a flexible work environment.
