Our Client is one of Australia’s largest Travel Business Groups. Established for over 30 years the Group has three Independent business divisions; They partner with Travel Agents offering a suite of travel solutions backed by market leading travel experts located in all Australian Capital cities and NZ.
About the Role
There are two roles based in Sydney. One of the roles is working with the Consolidation side of the business and involves maintaining current agent relations and acquiring new agents in the retail and corporate travel space. The other role is specific to representing an airline within their GSA division.
Skills and Experience required
The successful candidate will have a background in sales within a travel environment. You will bring a proven record of sales success and travel industry experience.
The ideal candidate will have superior communication skills and the ability to network. A solid network of contacts in the travel industry, particularly retail travel agencies, will be highly regarded as well as an understanding of fares and ticketing.
