The airport capped off the year with more than 50,000 international departures in the last week of December - the highest number for a single week in the airport’s 35-year history.

Domestic passenger traffic rose 13 per cent to 15.9 million passengers from 14.2 million, and transit traffic increased 11 per cent to 177,000 passengers from 160,000.
