Commission deal as Creative launches FlightLink technology

Creative Holidays says its FlightLink online booking solution is now available to Australian travel agents.

The company says the product will enable them to book domestic low-cost air and Creative land product within Australia through iCreate.

Md Justin Montgomery said: “The introduction of FlightLink provides agents with a simple way to transact domestic bookings with low cost air and Creative Holidays land products in one simple transaction and in one system.

“Plus, Creative Holidays will pay 7 per cent POS commission on Virgin Blue flights booked via iCreate as well as up to 14 per cent on our land components.

These bookings will also earn World Reward Points, further benefiting agents.

“Creative Holidays will continue to develop FlightLink, including adding the ability to display more than one carrier at a time and the ability to book one-way journeys, open-jaw and mix-carriage flights.

“These enhancements are due out in late 2005.”

Creative says e-tickets will be issued directly by the airline once bookings are paid and confirmed, and sent to the e-mail address advised to the airline at the time of booking.

Land services will continue to operate as they currently do via electronic documentation.
