APT revamps NZ dining and touring options

Australian Pacific Touring has incorporated full a-la-carte dining on its Premier Plus tours of New Zealand.

The changes coincide with the launch of the company’s brochure for the 2005-06 season.

On APT’s Premier Plus tours, formerly known as ‘Premier Touring’, passengers will experience ‘silver service’ dining at The Hermitage in Mt Cook and acclaimed Japanese cuisine at Miyazo Restaurant at the Rutherford Hotel in Nelson.

A five-course West Coast regional-specialties dinner at Franz Josef and a Maori hangi in Rotorua are also included on tours.

APT’s Premier tours, formerly known as Superior tours, now include access to the company’s ‘freedom of choice’ concept at no extra cost.

Freedom-of-choice touring presents passengers with a range of available activities which are included in the holiday at no extra cost.

In addition, ‘dine around dinners’ give passengers the freedom to choose from a selection of Queenstown’s restaurants at no extra cost.
