Intrepid in the Outback
 
Intrepid Travel has released a new 16-day Outback Tracks trip designed to blend iconic Australian places and desert gems.

Outback Tracks offers real-life experiences such as an afternoon in the wine-growing region of the Clare Valley, a journey along the Oodnadatta Track, time spent with Aboriginal communities, a camel trek in the Australian desert, a day exploring Coober Pedy, Kings Canyon and Uluru.

The Adelaide to Alice Springs itinerary starts from $2550 (plus local payment of $250) and departs August 5, 26 and September 16, 2006.
